Trina Brubaker
Biography
Trina Brubaker’s practice focuses on Wills & Estates, including estate planning, administration of estates, and estate litigation. She draws on her past experience in practicing in a variety of areas of law, including real estate and family law, to create informed estate plans to suit the individual needs of each client.
Her litigation experience includes appearances in Provincial and Supreme Court, as well as participation in mediations and arbitrations. She recognizes the value of being both a strong advocate in the courtroom and having the tools to negotiate out of court settlements.
About Trina
Trina was called the bar in May 2013, after completing her J.D. at the University of Victoria’s Faculty of Law and an undergraduate degree at Malaspina University-College, now Vancouver Island University.
Trina currently volunteers with the BC Cancer Foundation as Catalyst Ambassador and a member of their Trusted Advisor Circle. Trina has served on the boards for the Rotary Club of Nanaimo-Oceanside, the Young Professionals of Nanaimo, and the 2014 Nanaimo B.C. Summer Games Society, and presents regularly on a variety real estate and estate related topics. She was the recipient of a 2015 Vancouver Island Top 20 Under 40 Award, recognizing business and community achievement.
Outside of the office, Trina enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, for better or for worse.
